The bout ends by decision if all scheduled rounds (3 or 5) are completed.
In other words, the bout does not end with KO, Submission or No Contest.
Three judges score the bout. Each judge score the bout round by round (see Scoring).
By adding the points of each round, judge by judge, we obtain a score for the fight for each judge: the scorecard. A fight ends on an Unanimous Draw or Draw, when, according to their scorecards, the three judges result in a tie or Draw (same number of points).

A fighter is declared the winner by Unanimous Decision or UD, when the three judges, according to their scorecards, designate the same fighter as winner.

A fighter is declared the winner by Majority Decision or MD, when, according to their scorecards, two of the three judges designate the same fighter as the winner and the third leads to a tie or Draw (same number of points).

A fighter is declared the winner by Split Decision or SD, when, according to their scorecards, two of the three judges designate the same fighter as the winner and the third designates his opponent as the winner.

A fight ends on a Majority Draw or MDraw, when, according to their scorecards, two of the three judges result in a tie or Draw (the same number of points) while the third judges designate a winner.

A fight ends on a Split Draw or SDraw, when, according to their scorecards, a judge designates one fighter as winner, another his opponent as winner and the third ends in a tie or Draw (same number of points).

A fight ends on an Unanimous Draw or Draw, when, according to their scorecards, the three judges result in a tie or Draw (same number of points).
